PEB Structure

Construction of a Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) is a streamlined industrial process where a structure is designed and fabricated off-site before being assembled on a prepared foundation. The process begins with the Primary Frame, consisting of high-tensile steel columns and rafters that are factory-welded into tapered shapes to maximize structural efficiency.


Structural Layers
Secondary Framing: Cold-formed longitudinal members, such as Z-purlins and C-girts, are bolted to the primary frame to support the exterior skin and provide lateral stability.

Building Envelope: The roof and walls are clad with weather-proof metal sheets or insulated sandwich panels, secured with specialized fasteners and mastic beads for a water-tight finish.

On-Site Assembly
Unlike traditional masonry, PEB construction utilizes a "completely knocked down" system. Components arrive pre-punched and labeled, allowing for rapid, weld-free erection using high-strength bolts and nuts. This method significantly reduces labor requirements and construction timelines while ensuring seismic resilience and easy future expansion.

Structural Framework
The backbone of the building consists of primary frames, including heavy-duty columns and roof rafters. These are often tapered to provide maximum strength exactly where the stress is highest. To support the outer skin, secondary members like purlins and girts are installed horizontally across the frame, providing essential lateral stability.

Exterior Shell & Insulation
The "envelope" of the structure is made of high-tensile metal panels. These are available as:

Single-Skin Sheeting: Durable, weather-resistant profiled metal sheets.

Insulated Sandwich Panels: A core of insulating material between two metal layers, providing superior temperature control.

Connections & Integrity
Unlike traditional construction that requires extensive on-site welding, PEB components feature pre-punched holes and are secured using high-strength bolts. This ensures a water-tight, earthquake-resistant, and flexible structure that can withstand harsh environments and heavy wind loads.

Material & Design
The primary framework consists of heavy-duty, high-tensile steel columns and rafters, often featuring a tapered profile to optimize strength where stress is highest. Secondary structural members, such as purlins and girts, provide lateral support and a mounting surface for the exterior skin.


Protective Cladding
The exterior is typically finished with corrosion-resistant metallic coated sheets or insulated sandwich panels. These materials are chosen for their durability, weatherproofing capabilities, and thermal efficiency, ensuring the interior remains protected from the elements.

Assembly & Durability
Unlike traditional construction, these structures rely on precision-punched holes and high-strength bolted connections, eliminating the need for extensive on-site welding. This results in a robust, flexible, and earthquake-resistant building suitable for warehouses, factories, and large-scale industrial plants.
